StruBIM Steel is a program designed for creating and maintaining BIM models of structural steel parts. This program allows users to create an accurate BIM model that includes the elements needed to define the structure (sections, plates, bolts, butt welds and fasteners). The program provides shop drawings in DSTV format for outputting results.
StruBIM Steel is a program for making details of steel structures. This program includes various tools for modeling or importing a BIM model and allows users to precisely define all required elements such as sections, plates, bolts, welds and anchors. As a result, the application provides production files in DSTV format.
As StruBIM Steel is an Open BIM tool and is connected to the BIMserver.center platform, it offers various workflow options.
StruBIM Steel’s workspace is similar to other CYPE modeling tools, and features a system of dockable windows that can be customized to adapt the workspace to the needs of the project.
In the upper left corner of the screen there are two separate tabs: “Model” and “Documents”.
The modeling area is located on the right side of the home screen, where all elements of the project are entered, edited and visualized in 3D.
The main toolbar has different functions depending on the “Model” or “Documents” tab. You can create project libraries, enter or edit elements, measure model elements, analyze connections, and number and manage pages.
On the left are the main tools for defining project views, managing the view of read elements, tags and the elements themselves.
